Why You Should Have 2 People On Car Title.

I will start by answering the title of the post, had Senia's name been on the title along with her dad she could have gotten the car out of impound immediately. Instead It took about a week to take care of something that should have only taken a couple hours.

Senia's dad had his car impounded. It started with a burned out brake light, how you get from a burnt out light bulb to impounded is pretty silly. It starts about 10 years ago when a citation was issued to her dad for no insurance or something like that, he chose to do community service and finished it up. Unfortunately they never removed that citation or closed it out, strike one. Why this did not show up about a year ago when he got his license I don't know (he used mass transit for a while before he got another car), why this did not show up when he got his insurance is also weird. So finally they canceled his license without notice, which leads us to the impound. So, after a long holiday weekend at the courthouse (4 days later) the matter is finally taken care of after some serious $$$$, problem with that is now it's Friday and the DMV is not open on Fridays. Unable to get his license reissued we have to wait another weekend. On Monday we take him to the DMV and guess what...the courthouse did not close out the matter yet again (kind of like what happened 10 years ago). So back to the courthouse to get them to close out the citation. Hours and hours later in line both at the courthouse and DMV it is now evening time, luckily the LAPD is not that f'd up and gave the car release after seeing the new license. WHY oh WHY is it soo hard to get people to do their job when they work for either the city or state????
