Flat Tire Stuff!!!

First post with my iPhone, Yay team! So after adding some air to my right rear tire Tuesday night I noticed that a nail or something big was how the tire was losing air, this was also the source of a ticking noise I noticed the other day but was unable to track down. I decided that plugging it Wednesday after getting some sleep would be the way to go. Unfortunately after pulling out the sheet metal screw I noticed it was really mangled up and also punctured the tire at an angle. I tried plugging it twice both times were a fail. With the thread near the wear indicators I decided a patch might not be worth the effort. I ordered up some Nitto tires and then called in to work since my mode of transport was now sitting on a flat, the spare is one of those skinny tires and I really don't want to ride on that (limited slip differential)! However about 6 hours later I had an epiphany, I remembered that all my original wheels and tires were sitting in the garage, why I couldn't remember this earlier, well I just don't know! Oh well, the next day I grabbed two of them as temporary spares for the rear end. When jacking up the car my floor jack went kaput, spewed oil out the rod for the pump! Had just enough umph to jack up the car for the spares, but I will have to rebuild the jack before next use. Tires arrive tomorrow and will get them mounted/balanced at a local tire shop.

Weird Al Concert

Finally had a little us time with my wife last night, we got to see Weird Al and it was really fun, unfortunately it was a really long day for me since I'm working this weekend. So at the end of the night I was freakin exhausted, so late night dinner at our favorite beach front cafe with some friends was a must. No better way to finish off a long long day! Got some autographs too...sending one of them to the only other Weird Al fan that I know of, that isn't from my Lynwood! Weird Al went to my school, and we had the same math teacher...in fact my former teacher got us backstage passes!!! All in all this was a great night. BTW THAT IS NOT ME IN THE PICTURE!!!! Hahaha Photobomb!!!
