Not So Free Man!

I proposed to Senia a few hours ago and she said yes! I was really hoping to propose the traditional way...you know wait till she was knocked up then getting her the ring, but I don't think she was gonna let that one fly. So I got a head start by getting her parents blessing, then popping the question. Although I wanted to avoid a public display, I really couldn't pass up the fact that she was graduating, and that her entire family (including grandma) was gonna be there. I figured it was now or never. At the end of all the graduation stuff I got all of us that were there to support Senia together under the guise that we were gonna pose for a group pic, right there in the middle of all the graduating class with all the parents/families, but instead I dropped to my knee and did it. I think it worked cause I made a few people cry. Senia graduated from ELAC last night, she will be transferring to CSULB for the fall semester!

Free Man!

My ticket for driving a "truck" on a No Truck zone was dismissed today! I was ready to plead my case with an email from someone at California's department of transportation stating the citation was issued incorrectly. But before I even got to the stand my case was dismissed, I was in and out because the officer was a no show. I am sure he had better things to do like issue more citations!!! The whole way home I kept on thinking of O.J. and the undersized glove for some reason! I now have to wait 6-8 weeks to get my money back, the money I had to pay money to plead not guilty. Just another bonus of living in Southern California!

Ducks on the Road!

I was on my way home in the morning yesterday and I noticed a duck crossing the road, it was crossing across to the golf course/park on my right hand side. It was kind of cool to see something different on the way home....I slowed down and others around me followed suit. I felt good that I was able to spot it, and slowed down early enough to get the car in the other lane to slow down!

Finally!!!

I finally aired up the tires on Senia's car. One of them had been low for quite a while, now I just need to rotate them. One of the front tires seems to be wearing improperly, I will take it in to get alignment checked soon.

Gambling Woes

So we came back from State Line on this Wednesday! Senia and I carpooled with one of my fellow co-workers, He took his grandma and we tagged along. We took off early Tuesday morning and made it there in about three hours! I had never been there before and figured it would be a good idea to get some practice in before I go to vegas in a couple of months. I had fun, although I did not win. I was pretty good at winning right away, but I would eventually lose it after not quitting while ahead. Oh well, I had fun!
